MSTP Multi Service Transmission Solution Overview

Genew technology NC5200A/AS and NC5800A/AS series MSTP devices support the transmission rate from 155Mbit / s to 40Gbit / s, support TDM, Fe / Ge, ATM, RPR and POS services, apply SDH, GFP, LCAS and Ethernet L2 switching technology, support various complex networking and provide strong multi service comprehensive management capability.

Using NC series MSTP products to build local or metro network can enable telecom operators to realize multi service access and full service transmission capability in the shortest time.

Solution Architecture

Solution Description

According to the business requirements, NC5800AS and NC5800A equipment are used to build the backbone layer (10G/STM-64) and aggregation layer (2.5G/STM-16) of the transmission network, and NC5800a and NC5200A equipment are used to build the aggregation layer (2.5G/STM-16) and access layer (622M/STM-4, 155M/STM-1) of the transmission network, which can support various networking modes including mesh, ring, chain, ring belt chain, intersecting ring and tangent ring, so as to realize the flexible access of TDM, Ethernet and other services.

NC’s Network supports MSP (multiplex section protection), SNCP (subnet connection protection), PP (channel protection), DNI (double node interconnection protection), 1 + 1 chain protection and various two-layer protection methods of data services, such as STP, RSTP, RPR and wrapping protection. At the same time, it also supports various equipment level protection, such as 1 + 1 protection of power supply, master control, crossover and clock, and CFP protection of various branch Services (stm-1e, E3 / T3, E1 and T1).

  Hard channel strictly guarantees QoS 
     NC series MSTP equipment is a multi service transmission equipment based on SDH technology. The service channel is a hard channel, which can strictly ensure the performance of bandwidth, delay, jitter and other aspects, and has the best support ability for TDM service.
  Support multiple service interfaces 
     As multi service transmission devices, NC5800A/AS and NC5200A/AS series devices support multiple service interfaces, such as TDM interface (T1 / E1, T3 / E3), SDH interface (stm-m / stm-1e), Ethernet interface (10 / 100BaseT, GE), POS interface, ATM interface, etc.

  Powerful Ethernet capability
     NC series MSTP has strong Ethernet service access capability, uses GFP to encapsulate data services, supports VC12 / VC3 / VC4 mapping, supports virtual cascade, and supports Ethernet point-to-point transparent transmission, point-to-multipoint aggregation, multipoint to multipoint and shared ring services; Support 802.1w, IEEE 802.1Q, 802.1p, 802.1d, 802.1ad, 802.3x and other protocols, and provide flow control, port speed limit, LCAS and other functions.

  Multiple protection methods
     NC series MSTP equipment supports equipment level and network level protection. Equipment level protection includes 1 + 1 protection of power supply, master control, crossover and clock and CFP protection of various branch Services (STM-1e, E3 / T3, E1 and T1). Network level protection includes MSP (multiplex section protection), SNCP (subnet connection protection), PP (channel protection), DNI (double node interconnection protection), 1 + 1 chain protection and other protection methods.

  Network level management system
NC series MSTP equipment is uniformly managed by numax NMS / EMS integrated network management system. Numax NMS / EMS provides a friendly GUI interface, providing user management, service configuration, alarm maintenance, performance monitoring and other functions. It can also be managed by Numax LCT local maintenance terminal. The network element can be configured and tested locally through LCT.
